Admiral Theater Events and Announcements

Dear Neighborhood Business Leaders and Organizations

Ahoy!

Although the Admiral Theater has been here “forever”, it might surprise you that in the last year, it has turned into THE place to go when seeking quality entertainment.  From the Mamma Mia “Sing-a-long” and wedding, to the Frances Farmer Film Retrospective, to the recent Pete Seeger Birthday Tribute Film & Hootenanny, we are reaching out to the community to provide an aray of live entertainment to appeal to every age group and ethnicity.  At the end of this month; we present May Magic with Phil Crosson (check out info at; www.thehistoricadmiraltheater.com) for complete family fun.

Whether it’s our intimate Listening Room Series which provides a creative buffet of acoustic music, live painting and spoken word concerts to our comedy shows and support of indie neighborhood film offerings, the Admiral continues in it’s outreach to become an exciting entertainment performance center.  Oh and did you know we now have our tavern license?  We can still keep our shows “all ages” by delegating our Crow’s Nest Lounge upstairs for our special shows!

On June 5th- June 11th, for the FIRST time, the Admiral will host a week of international films as a newly added venue with the Seattle International Film Festival.  This is quite an achievement and gives full notice to other theaters outside of West Seattle that the Admiral has not only survived but “arrived” as a venue of prestige and commitment to quality.

We are looking for organizations to help us plan and produce a great opening night gala for the community.  The 7 p.m. film on opening night is THE ADMIRAL!  (Seriously).  How cool is that?  It’s a big Russian epic, part war story, part love story in the tradition of Dr. Zhivago.  We are seeking “partners”  who can set up in the lobby and offer appetizers, non-alcoholic beveridges, etc. while getting some great community visibility and good will.  Please feel free to forward this email to other West Seattle businesses in your area who might be interested in this proposal.

On a continual basis, we are always looking to partner with our fellow businesses to create fun events for your employees and families.  Let us help you set up a dinner and a movie/show night with your favorite restaurant, help you plan a charity benefit show or bring your favorite band to our stages.  The possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination.

We welcome you “on board” at the Admiral for all your future events.  And the good news is….you won’t get seasick!
