The Alki News Beacon serves the community west of the West Seattle Bridge on Harbor Avenue, up to 52nd Avenue SW and to Jacobson Road on Beach Drive.

It is run by volunteers supported by the Alki Community Council. The Beacon, both printed and online, is published in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Editorials reflect the concerns and research of the volunteer Beacon staff and do not necessarily reflect the view of the Alki Community Council. Signed columns and letters are opinions of the authors.

The Alki News Beacon welcomes guest letters and columns for our printed and online publications, but available space and timeliness govern inclusion.

Articles must be received by the 20th of the month PRIOR to publication.

The cost of a double size ad in the printed Beacon is double the price of the single size.
